Our Statement of Faith provides an enriched academic experience through the Montessori philosophy in an environment that teaches Christian principles and the love of Jesus Christ to all.

The foundation of Christian Montessori School at Lake Norman is respect for each student as a unique individual. Our challenging and enriched programs are surprisingly flexible and creative in addressing our children's talents and interests.
 

Christian Montessori School at Lake Norman is a place for critical thinking, where children "learn how to learn". Rather than present students with textbooks and lectures filled with the "right answers", teachers ask the right questions, leading the students to discover the answers for themselves. Learning becomes its own reward, and each success fuels a desire to discover more.

Christian Montessori School at Lake Norman encourages parental participation in the success of the school through it's Parent Teacher Association. Meeting approximately three times a year, the PTA discusses specific needs of the school and how they can be addressed through various committees. Parents are encouraged to join the Christian Montessori School at Lake Norman PTA by completing the Christian Montessori School at Lake Norman PTA Membership Form. Each family has an obligation of at least 10 volunteer hours per school year. This can be satisfied by participating in the events/activities sponsored by the PTA.
