Habitat for Humanity - "Change for Change" PDF Print E-mail

Christian Montessori partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a fundraiser called "Change for Change" our students raised almost $775.00 to help Habitat for Humanity benefit people in need of safe, decent, affordable homes. Children were responsible for collecting change for deposit in our collection containers located on campus. Take a look at the faces of our children when they saw all the money they collected!!

CMS-LN Supports Loaves & Fishes "Can if You Can" Food Drive PDF Print E-mail

Remember the story, Stone Soup"? It was about people who shared food in order to make a giant pot of soup. Everyone got to eat, and all the people were very happy! The story was shared with our students, who wanted to make people happy too. As a part of our "Helping Hands Curriculum", we asked our students, families, staff and community to donate cans of soup to benefit Loaves & Fishes as part of their "Can if You Can Food Drive"...and they came through! Our Primary 1 classroom was exhausted after helping to load the collection truck on Tuesday, 11/22/2010. We were also proud to donate Christian Montessori bags!!
